Synopsis
- This TED talk describes the connections between climate change and gender equity.

- The first segment provides an introduction and an overview of the solutions available to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, which can be used to introduce the many solutions of climate change and Project Drawdown.
- Cross-curricular connections can be made with civics classes when discussing governmental policies or laws that may prevent women and girls from equally participating in society or having equal rights and access to resources.
